Terms of service
A few fair agreements between you and Grimora.
Effective
These terms are an agreement between you and Grimora (“we”, “us”) about using Grimora: this website, the API behind it and any Grimora apps.
By joining or using Grimora, you agree to them and to our Community guidelines. Our Privacy policy explains what we do with your information.
If you don’t agree, please don’t use Grimora.
You own what you post: your words, your photos, all of it. We don’t claim it.
To run Grimora we need your permission to use it. So when you post, you give Grimora a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, display, distribute and format it.
Post only what you have the right to share: your own words and photos, or things you have permission to use.
Grimora is an open circle. Your profile, posts and replies can be seen by anyone, may appear in search engines, and can be linked to and shared by others.
So share only what you’re comfortable showing the world, and never other people’s private details. Your Grimoire, blocks and reports stay private; the Privacy policy has the details.
Our Community guidelines are part of these terms. In short: honor every path, share but don’t preach, take care with herbs and flame, and be kind.
Don’t use Grimora to:
Posts on Grimora are personal experiences, shared in good faith. They aren’t medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, and never a substitute for a professional.
Grimora welcomes every path and doesn’t endorse any belief, practice or claim made in a post. What’s right for you is yours to decide.
We can’t review everything before it’s posted, and members are responsible for what they share.
If you believe something on Grimora infringes your copyright, contact us with:
We’ll remove infringing material promptly. If your post was removed by mistake, you can send a counter-notice the same way. We close the accounts of repeat infringers.
Grimora’s API powers our website and upcoming apps. You may use it with your own account, for a personal script say, within its rate limits.
Don’t use it to collect other members’ data, post or bless in bulk, train AI models or build a copy of Grimora. We may change or limit the API, and revoke access that’s abused.
Our apps follow these terms too, alongside the rules of the store you got them from.
You can delete your account anytime in Settings → Account. It’s immediate and permanent, so download your data first if you’d like a copy.
We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, when the law requires it, or to protect members or Grimora.
If we ever close Grimora, we’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice so you can download your data.
The parts of these terms meant to last, like the disclaimers, limits of liability and governing law, still apply after you leave.
Grimora keeps growing. We may add, change or remove features, and if a change takes away something important to you, we’ll tell you ahead of time where we reasonably can.
We work hard to keep Grimora running well, but it’s provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will always be available, secure or error-free, or about anything members post.
Posts are their authors’ own views. We don’t endorse them.
To the extent the law allows, Grimora isn’t liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits or goodwill, arising from Grimora or anything posted on it. Our total liability for any claim about Grimora is limited to US$100.
Nothing in these terms limits liability the law doesn’t allow us to limit, such as for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or takes away your rights as a consumer.
If someone brings a claim against us because you broke these terms or the law, you agree to cover our reasonable costs and losses from it, including legal fees. This doesn’t apply where consumer law doesn’t allow it.
These terms are governed by the laws of the place where we’re established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
If you’re a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country you live in, and you can bring a claim in your local courts.
Before going to court, please contact us: most problems are solved with a conversation.
If any part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don’t enforce something right away, we haven’t given up the right to. These terms and the guidelines are our whole agreement about Grimora.
We’ll post any update here with a new effective date. For meaningful changes, we’ll tell you in Grimora at least 14 days before they apply, unless a change is needed sooner for legal or safety reasons.
If you keep using Grimora after that, you accept the new terms. If you don’t, you can delete your account anytime.
Our contact address is coming soon.
Until then, use Report on any post, reply or profile, and manage, download or delete your account in Settings.
